Unicellular organisms:

  1. They are made of one cell.
  2. They have simple mode of life processes (like digestion, etc).
  3. They do not have organs and organ systems so the entire life functions take place within the single cell.
  4. There is no cell division.
  5. Example, amoeba, paramecium, etc.

Multi cellular organisms:

  1. They are made of two or more cells.
  2. They have complex mode of life processes.
  3. They have organs and organ systems to carryout different life functions.
  4. There is cell division.
