kharif crops :these are summer season crop.these are sown in June to July and harvesting in September. example paddy(rice), maize, Soybean, groundnut, cotton,jowar and pulses.

Rabi crops:these are winter season crop.these are sown in March and April. Example : wheat ,gram ,mustard ,pea ,mustard ,potato and linseed.
