The Deccan Plateau is a large plateau in India which covers most of the southern part of the country.

The Tibetan plateau is in china. The area covered by Deccan plateau is approximately 600 meters while Tibetan plateau has elevation 4000 - 5000 meters.

Tibetan plateau is covered with snow while Deccan plateau is not covered with snow.
