The distribution can Be Calculated by formula, 2n square(n=no.of shell)

K=2*1 square = 2 electron

L=2*2 square = 8 electron

M=2*3 square = 18 electron

N=2*4 square = 32 electron

According to Bohr-Bury Law,

But Only 8 electrons can accommodate in outer shell.

K shell = 2 electrons maximum

L shell = 8 electrons maximum

M shell = 18 electrons maximum

N shell = 32 electrons maximum

O shell = 32 electrons maximum

P shell = 18 electrons maximum (32 electrons maximum) ( recently discovered)

Q shell = 8 electrons maximum (18 electrons maximum) (recently discovered)

R* shell = 8 electrons

Note: R shell is discovered in 2008 (not in books)
