Hey mate !!!

=====================================

decomposition reaction which take place in the presence of heat or sunlight is known as photo decomposition reaction or photolytic decomposition reaction.

following are the example of photo decomposition reaction

1) decomposition of Silver Bromide.

AgBr (s) -------∆ -------=> Ag (s) + Br (s) .

these are brown in colour.

======================================

2) decomposition of silver chloride .

Agcl (s) --------∆ ----------=> Ag (s) + Cl2 (g)

chlorine goes into atmosphere and silver remains in disc.

======================================

3 ) decomposition of hydrogen peroxide.

H2O2 -----∆ -----------=> H2 + O2

hydrogen peroxide is kept into black colour bottle because in the presence of Sunlight it decomposes into hydrogen and oxygen and nothing will be left in bottle so it is kept in black colour bottle.

hope it helps you dear !!!

thanks
