Water from the roof and upper storey bathrooms was carried through enclosed terracotta pipes or open chutes that emptied out onto the street drains. The earliest evidence of urban sanitation was seen in Harappa, Mohenjo-daro, and the recently discovered Rakhigarhi.

Drainage system in Harappan cities is best known for its perfection. It involved brickwork that prevented water from leaking. - Wooden barricades stopped solid wastes from being washed away. - I think this facts are enough to say they liked cleanliness.
