Answer:

(i) The epiglottis is flap of cartilage located in the throat behind the tongue and in front of the larynx.

(ii) The nucleolus is a round body located inside the nucleus of a eukaryotic cell. It is not surrounded by a membrane but sits in the nucleus.

(iv) The glenoid cavity or glenoid fossa of scapula is a part of the shoulder. It is a shallow, pyriform articular surface, which is located on the lateral angle of the scapula.

(iii) Melanin is found in several areas of the human body including:

°Skin where it provides skin color

Hair.

°Pupils or irises of the eyes.

°Stria vascularis of the inner ear.

°Areas of the brain, the substantia nigra and locus coeruleus.

°The medulla and zona reticularis of the adrenal gland.

(v) In flowering plants, the ovule is located inside the portion of the flower called the gynoecium. The ovary of the gynoecium produces one or more ovules and ultimately becomes the fruit wall.
