1) Na+, Fe2+, Ag+, Al3+, Cr3+, Au3+, Co2+, Ni2+, Hg2+, Sn2+ are some examples of positive radicals

2) CH4, NH3, and SiH4 may be named respectively "methylene" or "carbene"; "azanylidene", "nitrene", or "aminylene"; an "silylene" are examples of bivalent radicals.

3) Some common examples of basic radicals are Na+, Ba2+, Fe3+ etc.

4) Examples of trivalent basic radicals are Al3+ (Aluminium cation), Au + 3 (Auric ion), Bi3+ (Bismuth cation), Cr3+ (Chromiun (III) ion), and Fe3+ (Ferric ion).
