Answer:

Subset is a set which has all the elements of the other set.

Example : A = {1, 2, 3} and B = {1, 2, 3, 4}.

Hence, B is the subset for set A.

Finite set is a type of set which has finite number of elements.

Examples : A = {x : x is english alphabets}.

Infinite set is a type of set which has infinite number of elements.

Example : A = {x : x is natural numbers}.

Disjoint set are sets which have no elements in common or have no intersection.

Example : A = {a, b, c} and B = {d, e, f}.

Hence, A and B are disjoint sets.

Other types of sets :

  • Empty set is type a type of sed which does not contain any elements. Example : A = {z : x is negative natural number}. Hence, A = {}.
  • Equal sets are the type of sets in which every element of one set is also an element of set two. The cardinality is same as well as there is presence of same elements in both the sets. Example : A = {1, 2, 3} and B = {3, 2, 1}.
  • Equivalent sets are the type of cells whose cardinality is same. Example : A = {1, 2, 3} and B = {q, w, e}.
