Metals have certain physical characteristics which are common for

almost every metals.

But there are exceptions too.

Examples:

1)Metals like mercury, gallium etc are almost liquid in the average room temperature.Because these metals have a small amount of melting point.

2) Sodium is the most soft metal in the whole periodic table we can easily break a piece of sodium with our bare hands.And so we can also cut the sodium with a normal knife.

3)The copper metal have the greatest capability of heat conductivity.That's why it's the best heat conducting metal in the whole periodic table.(alloys are omitted because they aren't included in the normal periodic table)

4)Bismuth is the worst heat conducting metal with a numerical amount of 8W/ (m k).
