CAR MOVING WITH A SPEED OF 36 KMPH COMES TO REST IN 5 SECONDS,
THAT MEANS THE VELOCITY OF THE CAR IS DECREASING WITH TIME SO THE ACCELERATION WILL BE NEGATIVE.

IN CASE OF ACCELERATION = 0
EXAMPLE,
IF A CAR IS MOVING ALONG A STRAIGHT LINE WITH THE SAME VELOCITY SUCH AS AFTER ONE HOUR THE VELOCITY OF THE CAR = V AND AFTER 3 HOURS VELOCITY OF CAR IS SAME AS = V.
THEN THE CAR WILL BE SAID IN ZERO ACCELERATION.

HEYA!!!!

YOUR ANSWER:
________________________________
=>[{ACCELERATION IS NEGATIVE}]
When a car travels at a uniform speed and suddenly stops, the acceleration between A and B is retardation {negative acceleration}.
[See the figure attached("A")]
________________________________
=>[{ACCELERATION IS ZERO}]
When a car travels at a uniform speed for very long time.
[See "B" figure]
