\displaystyle\large\underline{\sf\green{Parsing:- }}

To parse a word is to tell what part of speech it is.

Let us parse the words in the following.

He came after we left.

\sf\green{He:-}

It is used instead of a noun ;therefore it is a Pronoun.

\sf\pink{After :-}

joins the sentence "He came " to the sentence "We left " ; therefore it’s a Conjunction.

A crow once stole a big piece of cheese.

\sf\purple{crow :-}

is a name ; therefore it is a Noun.

\sf\green{once :-}

tell us when a crow stole ; therefore it is an Adverb modifying the verb stole.

\sf\pink{stole :-}

says that a crow did ; therefore it is a Verb.

\sf\purple{big:-}

goes with the Noun piece to describe it ; therefore it is an Adjective qualifying piece.

\sf\green {of:-}

shows the relation between two things, piece and cheese ; therefore it is a Preposition governing the noun cheese.
