Give examples for the particles where (a) the velocity is in opposite direction to the acceleration (b) the velocity of
the particle is zero but is acceleration is not zero.

(a) At the top most point when a particle is thrown vertically upward, v=0 and a=−g.

(b) When a body is moving on a circular path with uniform speed, then its velocity is tangential and the acceleration is radial( centripetal acceleration). That is velocity is normal to acceleration.
