Plantations are a common type of farming in most parts of assam and north western bengal province .

The people of this place practice farming in a more large scale .they do farming of rice in large plantations .the fields are large and extensive occupying large tracks of land ,

They have developed modern methods of farming ,the fields cannot be cultivated by jand ,they use machines that enhance easy ind more efficient way of doing this farming
