There are two types of methods of Irrigation

  • Traditional method
  • Modern method

  • Moat(pulley system)- It includes the pullying of water from well and supplying to the crop field.
  • Chain Pump- It consists of two wheels connected with a chain. There are buckets attached to the chain , which are dipped in the water source and carry water upward to supply water.
  • Dhekli- Similar to moat, just the rope is attached to a pole or log of wood for counterbalance.
  • Rahat(Lever system)- Rahat uses ani.al labour to draw water from well....
