Tropospheric ozone formation: The tropospheric ozone is formed when the carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, volatile organic compounds for example xylene reacts with the other atmospheric gases in the presence of the sunlight.  

Formation of dust, fog, mist, smoke and smog in the troposphere: Oxide of sulfur and nitrogen when reacts with the air in the troposphere forms the dust,  fog, mist, smoke and smog in the atmosphere.
