Melting of ice is a reversible change. When ice cubes are kept at room temperature, they turn into water after some time. We can turn ice into water and vice-versa. Therefore it is a reversible change.

Burning of a piece of paper is an irreversible change. We cannot turn the ash of the paper to paper and vice versa. Therefore it is a irreversible change.
