1.Without friction, we cannot walk.
2.Without friction, we cannot write on paper.
3.Without friction,we cannot apply brakes to automobiles.

Disadvantages of friction(where friction is a foe) :

1.Friction produces huge amount of heat inside a machine.
2.It can cause mechanical damage to the machine.
