Give examples where the velocity of a particle is zero but its acceleration is not zero the velocity is opposite in direction to the acceleration the velocity perpendicular to the acceleration

Velocity of a partical becomes zero but acceleration will acts on it.

Explanation:

(1) Consider a body of certain mass is thrown in upwards direction . Then at maximum height the velocity becomes zero. But, there acceleration due to gravity acts on it . And it acts in opposite direction to velocity of the particle.
