Give explanation.

(a) Why do we not get crushed though there is a high atmospheric pressure acting on us ?

(b) Two thermocol balls held close to each other start moving away from each other when they are released.​

Electrostatic force is responsible for this phenomenon. The balls move away, i.e., will repel each other as those contain similar type of charge. And the balls will move towards, i.e., will attract each other if they contain opposite types of charges.
