From the equation :

CaCO₃ (s) + 2 HCl (aq) —> CaCl₂ (aq) + CO₂(g) + H₂O (l)

The mole ratio of Calcium carbonate to Hydrochloric acid is

1 : 2.

For every mole of Calcium carbonate we will have two moles of HCl.

Moles of HCl :

25/1000 × 0.75 = 0.01875 moles

The moles of Calcium carbonate usis :

0.01875 moles / 2 = 0.009375 moles

Molar mass of calcium carbonate = 100g /mol

Mass = molar mass × moles

= 0.009375 × 100 = 0.9375 g
