This soil develops on Crystalline, igneous rocks in areas of life rainfall . It looks yellow when hydrated . This type of soil is found in Odisha, Chattisgarh, Southern parts of middle of ganga plains and piedmont zone of western ghats.

Features of Red and Yellow soil are:
#This soil is red and brown in color. It has red colour because of high percentage of iron contest.
