A polynomial can only have positive integers exponents and additions, subtractions , multiplications as operations.
5 Expressions that are not polynomials:
1. 1-x⁻² since it has -2 as exponent;
2. (x²-2)/2x since it has division operation;
3. x³/²+3x-1since it has fractional exponent;
4. (x³+3x²/³+5)/x since it has fractional exponent and division operation;
5. √(x²+1) since it has root
