Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Equally likely outcome= The outcomes having equal probability to occur are known as equally likely outcome.

Examples:

1) Tossing a coin: Since coin has two possible outcome ,head and tail

The probability to occur head = 1/2 ,and same as the probability to occur tail = 1/2

thus Tossing a coin is an equally likely event.

2) Rolling a dice= since dice has six faces numbered 1,2,3,4,5 and 6

probability of occurring 1 = probability of occurring 2 =probability of occurring 3 = probability of occurring 4 = probability of occurring 5 probability of occurring 6 = 1/6

Since all outcomes have equal probability to occurs,so rolling a dice s equally likely event.

3) state true and false:

True and false question and answers have two equally likely outcomes, I.e. True or False

probability to occur true = probability to occur false = 1/2

hence it is equally likely event.

4) playing a card: playing a card is an equally likely event because, a deck has 52 cards and probability to swipe one card of any color is 1/52.

5) Drawing balls from a bag: if a bag have equal number of colourful balls, then drawing one ball is equally likely outcome.
