the differences between Easter and western coastal plains are...... the eastern coastal plains lies along the east cost of India and is washed by the bay of Bengal. Eastern coastal plains is a wide stretch of landmass of India, lying between the eastern ghats. it is wider and levelled than Western coastal plains.

whereas the western coastal plains lies along the west coast of India and is washed by the Arabian sea. it stretches from tamilnadu in the south to west bengal in the north through Andhra Pradesh and Odisha.
