Answer:What examples can you give to prove that India is a Secular Country in reality?

Anybody can give examples of Secularism in India but it's not a reality, it's a lie.

Some Secular Indians mention “Constitution of India” preamble of Constitution to explain Secular India but

The truth there was no “Secular” Word in the original constitution of India.[1]

On November 15, 1948, when the newly independent dominion of India was in the midst of a heated debate in the Constituent Assembly, on the nature of the Constitution, Prof K T Shah made an intervention demanding the inclusion of the word ‘secular’ in the preamble. “Sir, I beg to move, that in clause (1) of article 1, after the words ‘shall be a’ the words ‘Secular, Federalist, Socialist’ be included. The amended article or clause shall read as follows: ‘India shall be a Secular, Federalist, Socialist, Union of States’,” he said. In the ensuing discourse, while the members agreed on the nature of the Indian state adhering to secular principles, the word ‘secular’ was dropped from the preamble.

“Secular” word was added in 1976 to the Constitution during “Emergency” by Indian National Congress headed by Indira Gandhi known as 42nd Amendment[2]

Secular means not connected with religious or spiritual matters.

Is this apply to India.

India's Secularism[3]

India has no Uniform Civil Code but the applicable code of law is unequal, and India's personal laws - on matters such as marriage, divorce, inheritance, alimony - varies with an individual's religion. Muslim Indians have Sharia-based Muslim Personal Law, while Hindus(Hindu Code Bill), Christians, Sikh have their own common law. The attempt to respect unequal, religious law has created a number of issues in India such as acceptability of child marriage,[4] polygamy, unequal inheritance rights, extrajudicial unilateral divorce rights favorable to some males, and conflicting interpretations of religious books.[5][6] .

2. Caste based Reservation.[4]

The system of reservation in India comprises a series of measures, such as reserving access to seats in the various legislatures, to government jobs, and to enrollment in higher educational institutions based on religion, Caste.

I am not against Reservation as The reservation gives equal opportunity to oppressed, to who were treated with inequality and discriminated.

Caste based reservation is discrimination.

3. Use of Religion in Politics.

In India elections are fought & won on the basis of cast, religion. Contestant are chosen on the basis of their cast. Voter gives vote on the basis of religion.

Is this Secular…?

I don't think so, India can never be Secular with so many Cultures, religion living all together.
