In presence oxygen → the aerobic respiration is done in three stages

occurs in Eukaryotic cell

Glycolysis is performed in the cytoplasm.

citric acid cycle is performed in the mitochondrial matrix.

electron transport chain is located within the inner membrane of the mitochondria.

Fermentaion

occurs in bacteria and yeast which glycolysis is done to produce alcohol , acid or gases

also occurs in muscle cell in case of lack oxygen which glycolysis is done to produce Lactic acid .

Glycolysis →→ is process in which glucose convert to pyruvate.

in bacteria →pyruvate will covert to alcohol.

in muscle cell →pyruvate will cinvert to lactic acid.
