1. Independent Judiciary
- Every state shall assure the independence of judiciary and also include it within the Constitution of the state. The Judiciary shall be authorized to decide the matters before them impartially. 2. Limit the Power of Politicians
- The politicians shall not be permitted to raise their salaries, legislate on their retirement, hire cronies, etc. The salary of the politicians should be legally fixed. If the government hits key targets around GDP growth, income growth and unemployment, the politicians should receive bonus payments. A reduction in bonus would imply that inefficiency or disabilities of the politicians.
3. Digital Voting
- Everything is going digital considering the rapid transformation of technology and the need of the market. The government should consider this Idea as it will increase the participation of citizens in voting as well as make the results of election more authentic and trustworthy.
4. Non- Eligibility for candidature if suit against crimes:-
- If an applicant has a case against him for crimes of cognizable nature such as kidnapping, murder, etc. then that applicant shall not be be legally eligible to apply for the candidature. According to the data given by the Association of Democratic Reforms, more than 30% of Lok Sabha candidates have criminal charges against them.
