Step-by-step explanation:

 {2}^{n - 5}  \times  {2}^{n - 4}  =  {2}^{4} \\  {2}^{(n - 5) + (n - 4)}   =  {2}^{4}  \\  {2}^{n - 5 + n - 4}  =  {2}^{4}  \\  {2}^{2n - 9}  =  {2}^{4}  \\ 2n - 9 = 4 \\ 2n = 4 + 9 \\ 2n = 13 \\ n =  \frac{13}{2}

HOPE IT HELPS U :)

2^{n-5} x 2^{n-4} = 2^{4}

(Since, the bases are same, powers will be the same.)

Therefore,

⇒ (n-5) + (n-4) = 4

⇒ 2n - 9 = 4

⇒ 2n = 4+9

⇒ 2n = 13

⇒ n = \frac{13}{2}

Hope it helps.
