Cell wall :

T h e m a i n f u n c t i o n s o f t h e c e ll w a l l a r e t o p r o v i d e s t r u c t u r e, s u p p o r t, a n d p r o t e c t i o n f o r t h e c e l l. The cell wall in plants is composed mainly of cellulose and contains three layers in many plants. The three layers are the midle lamella, primary cell wall, and secondary cell.

Nucleus

It controls the heredity characteristics of an organism.

It main cellular metabolism through controlling synthesis of particular enzymes.

It is responsible for protein synthesis, cell division, growth and differentiation.

Stores heredity material in the form of deoxy-ribonucleic acid (DNA) strands.

The functions of Cell wall, Cell membrane and nucleus are :

Cell wall : The plant cell and bacterial cell have an outer wall surrounding the cell membrane. This wall is called cell wall. The cell wall in plant cells provides protection against high wind speed, temperature variations and atmospheric moisture.

Cell membrane : Every cell is bound by a thin delicate membrane called Cell membrane. The another name of the Cell membrane is plasma membrane. The Cell membrane is porous and it entry and exit of only selected substances. It prevents the movement of some other substances across it. Thus, it is also called selectively permeable membrane. It provides the outer boundary to the cell and seperates cell from one another and from the surrounding medium. It also protect the cell from the injury.

Nucleus : It is the most important part of the cell. It is large and spherical structure present in all cells. It consists of four parts - Nucleoplasm, Nuclear membrane, Nucleolus and Chromosomes. Nucleus contains genetic material, it coordinates cell activities like protein synthesis and cell division..
