some of the characterstics of viruses includes -

1) Viruses are non-living characters

2.) They are 10 to 100 times smaller than bacteria and its size ranges from 20 to 300 nm

3.)Viruses do not have any kind of cellular organisation

4.)It contains either DNA or RNA as a nuclear material.

5.)virus is protected by the protein coat called as the capsid.

6.)There are two types of viruses that are DNA viruses and RNA viruses.
