THE PLACE WHICH LIES NEAR THE EQUATER RECEIVE MORE AMOUNT OF SUNLIGHT THAN THE PLACE WHICH IS FAR FROM EQUATER THUS WE CAN SAY THAT SOUTH INDIA HAS HIGH TEMPERATURE THAN THAT OF NORTH INDIA AS NORTH INDIA RECEIVE VERY LESS AMOUNT OF SUNLIGHT.

Answer. The reason is that south India is very close to equator. The sunlight of the sun falls directly on equator because it is horizontal across the sun and makes it the most hottest area of earth. North India is cooler because it is away from the equator and close to the north pole which is very cool.
