Harmful effects:-

CO can cause headache, dizziness, vomiting, and nausea.

Smog can cause or aggravate health problems such as asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis and other respiratory problems as well as eye irritation and reduced resistance to colds and lung infections.

CFC can cause Global Warming (through "the Greenhouse Effect") and skin cancer.

Acid rain can cause extensive damage to materials and terrestrial ecosystems such as water, fish, vegetation, soils, building etc. e.g. Acid rain causes aluminum to be released into the soil, which makes it difficult for trees to take up water.

SO2 can irritates the nose, throat, and airways to cause coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath, or a tight feeling around the chest.

SPM can cause lung damage and respiratory problems when breathed in, lodge in our lung tissues.

Global Warming can change rainfall and snow patterns, increase droughts and severe storms, reduce lake ice cover, melt glaciers, increase sea levels and change plant and animal behavior.
