if there is no soil profile we cant fertilize and cant grow the crops

Soil profile is categorised into four layers (topsoil,subsoil,substratum,bedrock).In the 1st and 2nd layers the crops can be grown.If there is no soil profile we can't grow crops and therefore we don't get food and we will die.
