Hey...
1 . Arthur H. Keller
The father of Helen and Mildred, and a captain in Confederate Army prior to his work as a newspaper editor. His family is descended from Casper Keller, a native of Switzerland, who settled in Maryland. Helen loved her father, and remarked that he was a particularly good storyteller. She also commented on his fondness for hunting. Arthur died in the summer of 1896.
3 . Mildred Keller
The younger sister of Helen Keller. For a long time, Helen regarded her little sister as an intruder on her mother's attention. Eventually, the two developed a close relationship, though Mildred was never truly able to understand Helen's finger language. Mildred also attended the Cambridge School with Helen for six months.
5 . Mr. Gilman
Mr. Arthur Gilman was the Principal of the Cambridge School for Young Ladies. He was a generous person who learned to use manual alphabet to have a conversation with Helen. He was very serious about his students and cared deeply about Helen's education, but when he reduced her course load and extended her time at the school following her illness, Helen's mother withdrew her and put her in private tutoring.
4 . Anne Sullivan
Johanna Mansfield Sullivan Macy, known as Anne Sullivan, came into Helen’s life on third of March 1887. She herself had been blind in her youth, and after her vision was partially restored, she decided to dedicate her life to teaching others like her. Through Miss Sullivan's patient teaching that was perfectly tailored to Helen's interests and needs, Helen achieved great success, the likes of which no one expected from her.
2. Kate Adams
The mother of Helen Keller and Mildred Keller. She was a very caring lady who tried her best to understand Helen and taught her a lot of things. Throughout Helen's life, she was a constant advocate for her daughter, determined to find opportunities for her despite her handicaps.
Hope it helps ...!!!

Artur H Keller :-
Helens father was Arthur H. Keller. He was a former captain in the Confederate Army and later an editor of a newspaper. Helen's recollects how she used to make her way through 'great drifts of newspapers' to her father's side. Helen found her father's work amusing and puzzling, and would often imitate him to find out exactly what he would be so occupied in. It was only several years later that she learnt that he was an editor.
He was a loving father and was devoted to the family. He was also a good hunter. Helen notes that his hospitality was great, almost to a fault. He also seemed to have keen interest in gardening and maintaining orchard. He was very fond of his dogs. Helen calls him an excellent story-teller, who used to entertain Helen by spelling stories on her hand. Helen recalls how her father would be delighted to give to her anything that pleased her. Mr. Keller tried every means possible to first get her cured of her disabilities, and later, to give her proper education.
Mr. Keller died in the summer of 1896 after a short span of suffering and illness. Helen recalls her fathers death as a great blow to her, her 'first personal experience with death'.
Kate Keller :-
Kate Adams was the second wife of Helen's father Arthur H. Keller and many years younger than him. Helen's mother Kate Keller had named her daughter after her mother called Helen Everett. Helen had contracted an illness which closed her eyes and ears and plunged her into the unconsciousness of a new-born child. It was called an acute congestion of the stomach and brain. It was from this period that Helen
remembered the tenderness with which her mother tried to soothe her in her wailing hours of fret and pain. She tried to placate her child as Helen woke from sleep and turned her eyes to find her vision getting dimmer. Her mother succeeded in making Helen understand a good deal about different kinds of everyday things and Helen always knew when she wished her to bring something. Helen owed to her all the loving wisdom that was bright and good. Helen was extremely attached to her mother, she was also jealous of her sister because she thought of her as an intruder between mother and daughter. Kate was someone whom Helen admired and loved deeply, Helen revered her mother.
Mildred Keller:-
Mildred was the younger and only sister of Helen Keller. Their relationship did not start on a good note owing to jealousy on the part of Helen. Helen was jealous that her mother paid more attention to Mildred. However, with time, the two sisters developed a loving bond. Even without a proper language for communication, the two sisters hearts felt for each other. They had long walks together and often Mildred would explain the sceneries to Helen. Later, Mildred joined the Cambridge School with Helen and the two sisters spent some memorable years there in New York.
Anne Sullivan:-
Miss Anne Mansfield Sullivan had the greatest influence on the life, character and achievements of helen keller. she gave a new direction, meaning and purpose to helen's dark life. Miss Sullivan inherited all those traits and characteristics that go in making a perfect teacher. she was a picture of tireless patience and unending devotion. It was her constant encouragement, help and guidance that made Helen Keller first deaf and blind in the world to earn a bachelor degree
It was Graham Bell who advised the parents of Helen Keller to contact the Perkins Institute for the blind. the director, Mr. Anagnos asked for a former student Miss Anne Sullivan to become Keller's instructor. Miss Sullivan was herself a visually impaired 20 years old lady. It was the beginning of a 49-year-long relationship. The relationship evolved into Miss Sullivan becoming Helen's governess and then eventual companion . She immediately began to teach Helen to communicate by spellig words into her hand, beginning with "d-o-l-l" for the doll. It was Miss Sullivan eho unfolded and developed Helen's skills and possibilities. It was Sullivan's genius as a teacher, her sympathy and loving tect which made learning so beautiful and interesting for Keller. She felt that her being was inseperable from her student. All that was best in Helen Keller had been awakened by the loving touch of Miss Sullivan. Anne Sullivan stayed as a companion to Helen Keller long after she taught her.
Dr.Gilman :-
Mr. Arthur Gilman was the principal of Cambridge school of young Ladies. He was a kind and able teacher. Helen entered Cambridge School, to be prepared for Radcliffe.Out of generosity he let Mildred, Helen's sister, study at Cambridge. He was present for Helen as teacher, Interpreter and mentor. He took time out to read Shakespeare's "As you like it" with her. He was a teacher who made study interesting for Helen. However, due to different opinion on Helen's preparing period for college, and misunderstanding with Miss Sullivan, their friendship came to an end.
hope this helps!!
