Platyhelminthis are a phylum of kingdom Animalia. They are tribloplasric and bilaterally symetrical.They are acoelomate,they have no body cavity.They have soft bodies.Around 20,000 organisms are grouped in this phylum.

Platehelminthes: These are one like animals with flat leaf like body and the body is soft and unsegmented .have hooks and sukcers on their head around the mouth which help them to give the body of the host .
these are also known as platforms which mostly live as parasites inside human or animal bodies and also some live in freshwater and sea.
they donot have any organs for locomotion.
Each organisms possesses both male and female reproductiv organisms such organisms are called Hermaphrodite.
tapeworm planaria are members of the greater helminthes group .
