Yesterday, Neha was very happy to see her results. She told her parents about her dream of becoming an astronaut. She was ecstatic because she knew she was capable of doing amazing things. If she studied hard enough, she knew she would overcome any obstacle. The happiness lasted only shortly, however. Neha's parents were of course happy to see her impressive results, but they did not support her dream.
They had an arguement over the whole ordeal which had her running back to her room in tears. Neha didn't want to cry but the outburst was inevitable. Why didn't her parents believe in her? Did they think she was incapable? Were they too scared to send her off? Women these days were progressing and becoming CEO's of company's, so why couldn't she continue this? Neha absolutely loved tech and the planets. Landing on the moon and inspecting Mars was all she ever wanted as a child. She grew up on that dream and took the classes required to become an astronaut.
Giving up wasn't an option. Neha would complete all the requirements in order have a chance. Despite loving her parents with all her heart, she knew what she wanted to do in life. Besides, her parents might even change their minds after observing her intense hard work. Neha was motivated today and was ready to prove everybody that she was capable. She looked forward for tomorrow.
