1) In the thirteenth century the term "Hindustan" meant the areas of Punjab, Haryana and the lands between the Ganga and Yamuna. The term was used in the political sense for lands that were a part of the dominions of the Delhi Sultan. But now a days we understand the term "Hindustan" as "India", the modern nation-state.

2) At that time paper was used for printing important books, bibles, and legal documents. Later on England began making large supplies of paper in the late 15th century and supplied the colonies with paper for many years.

3) During the period of 700 - 1 750 , new technologies were created such as the Persian wheel which was used for irrigation, the spinning wheel for weaving and the firearms in combat .
