area of triangle PCD = 10 cm²

if triangle and parallelogram are on same base and between same parallel then area of parallelogram = 2 x area of that triangle

then

area of parallelogram ABCD = 2 x area of PCD

area of parallelogram ABCD = 2 x 10 = 20cm²

in parallelogram ABCD

if AD is base the the triangle on base and between same parallel is ADQ

then

area of ADQ = 1/2 of parallelogram

area of ADQ = 1/2 x 20

area of ∆ADQ = 10cm²
