In the given figure

AB = 13cm

CD = 7cm

BC = 10cm

CL = ?

BCL is a right angled triangle

For finding height we will use Pythagoras theorem

LB = 13cm-7cm

=6cm

BC = 10cm

CL = ?

H²=P²+B²

(BC)²=(CL)²+(LB)²

(10)²=(CL)²+(6)²

100=(CL)²+36

100-36=(CL)²

64=(CL)²

8²=(CL)²

8cm=CL

Area of trapezium = 1/2×(b1+b2)×Height

=1/2×(7+13)×8cm²

=20×4cm²

=80cm²

Hope it helps!!
