the main difference between conductors and insulators :-

CONDUCTORS - an object which allow electricity or heat to pass through them are known as conductors.

examples of conductors :- copper, silver, gold, damp wood etc.

INSULATORS - object which don't allow electricity or heat to pass through them are known as insulators.

examples of insulators :- plastic, glass, dry wood, cloth etc.
