And, Speed of the boat upstream

According to the second conduction,

and,

\mathrm{\bold{dividing \: both \: sides \: of \: the \: equation\: [4] \: by \: 3 \:,  \: we \: get,}}

Subtracting Equation [6] from [5], we get,
