Length of rectangle = 100 m

Breadth of rectangle = 60 m

A 5m width path made around the rectangular park .

Outer length = 100+5+5 = 110 m

Outer breadth = 60+5+5 = 70m

Area of Path = Outer area - Inner area

Area of path = { 110×70 } - { 100×60 }

= 7,700 - 6000 = 1,700

Hence  The area of the path is 1,700 sq.m.
