Q5) Differentiate between the following -
(i) Synthetic and Natural Fibres :
- Synthetic Fibres
Fibres which are obtained from chemicals are called Synthetic Fibres.
Example : Nylon and Polyester
- Natural Fibres
Fibres that are obtained from Animals and Plants are called Natural Fibres.
Example : Cotton and Jute
(ii) Homogeneous mixture and hetrogeneous mixture :
- Homogeneous Mixture
Homogenous is that mixture in which the solute particles are completely mixed with each other. Example : Salt mixed in water.
- Heterogeneous Mixture
In Heterogeneous mixture the particles are not completely mixed which means they have a visible boundaries of separation between them.
Example : Iron particles in water.
(iii) Ginning and Retting :
- Ginning
