Erect image means the image formed is same side up of the object.
lnverted image means the image formed is upside down of the object.
Virtual image means the image cannot be obtained on a screen as the rays coming from the object don't meet actually.
Real images can be obtained on a screen as the rays coming from the object actually meet at a point.
