A chemical change (chemical reaction) is a change of materials into other, new materials with different properties, and one or more new substances are formed. 

EXAMPLES OF CHEMICAL CHANGES:

• Combustion (burning).

• cooking an egg.

• Rusting of an iron pan.

• Mixing hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide to make salt and water. 

• The explosion of fireworks.
