Heya mate, Here is ur answer

Good morning to one and all present over here. Respected Principal Ma'am, Distinguished members of jury, worthy teachers and all my dear friends. This is ____ of class ___ going to speak on the topic "Plastic should not be banned " and I am going to speak in favour of the motion.

Dear friends, Imagine a day,(voice raised) (I said just a day, )without plastics. By plastic, I not only mean carry bags but also other day to day objects like your pens, your hair pins, your everything that is made up of plastic. Imagine what would be the condition. I think it would be same as living in the ancient world.

Today's world is technology based. We have become so busy that we don't have times for anything. Now, let me give you an example, of such condition, where using plastics becomes important . Consider, if we don't use mixer for grinding (which has a plastic body) , we need to use alternative , i.e, stone grinding. Since, mixer saves our time, we are dependent on it in this busy world.

Also, Now I want you to answer my question? What makes plastic harmful?

Plastic isn't harmful itself. Problem arises when it burns. Problem arises when it is decomposed ( its decomposition takes millions of years).

Plastic is not the problem, its method of decomposition makes it the problem. (Raise your voice here). Plastic isn't the problem, we human beings are the problem.

We have become so lazy with technology that we try our level best to take out short cuts. Same is the case with plastics. We do not think of the ways we can safely use plastic but we just throw it after use and makes the environment dirty and at last, we do not leave a chance to say our mistake as others.

Plastic is a polymer that can be remolded. So, why not remolding this plastic to create other useful thing. Plastic can also be reused. (raised voice here) {Yeah, there is nothing bad in reusing your things}. I remember, I don't know why I have a craze about collection. Even when it is only a matchbox, I collect it (that may seem somewhat foolish) . But ultimately that makes me a profit . As a student, we all get something to do as our projects. And the material that I collected can be used in that project. We can use them to design our cover pages. We can use a carry bag more than once. Also, we can use left out jars.

Ohh!! I remember why not use it to generate electricity. Yeah! you would be amazed to know that. Sweden, you all must know, imports wastes from its neighbor to generate electricity. What a good idea? Does this in plastic make it bad?

So, at last,I would like to say that " Human mind is the most mysterious thing in the world " . If it had found some thing that is so-called problem by my rival classmate, it will also find the solution to such problem.

I hope you all must be satisfied:)

Warm regards

Good Morning my friends and respected Teachers. Today I am going to tell you all about  PLASTIC SHOULD NOT BE BAN for today's debate competition.

Those of us who have been following the water debate for months now realize it is all one giant diversion to keep us from dealing with the city’s plan to ban plastic bags at the grocery store.

Yep, once they wear out the loyal opposition with plain, old-fashioned water torture, the City Council will have to deal with the Natural Resource Commission’s constant pressure on the bag ban issue.

Turns out informing the public about the wonders of plastic bags has fallen to the Public Works Department, which has swallowed the NRC’s thinking in its entirety, despite the fact that at this point, this is only a proposed ordinance that still must be approved by our esteemed City Council.

After spending nearly two full pages explaining the horrors of plastic bags — including an absolutely comical section dealing with the pressing question: “What should you do if you encounter a flyaway bag?” — the Public Works Department issues a major contradiction of its own advice.

“Fun Ways to Reuse Plastic Bags” is the title of the section that follows the two pages that detail the evils of ever using a plastic bag in the first place.

In other words, plastic bags are the scourge of the Earth — not to mention the county landfill — but what the heck, the truth is these very same bags are more fun than a barrel of monkeys.

In fact, the city lists fully 29 different “fun” uses for a plastic bag, which makes you wonder if the person putting this list together is full-time at this endeavor, with medical benefits and a fat pension to boot.

And, since there are at least 29 fun — and sometimes practical — uses for plastic bags, maybe it’s not such a bad idea to have a dozen or so kicking around in the closet just in case you want to enjoy the many benefits they provide.

“Make a Makeup Bag,” is reason No. 1, even if most of us carry all the makeup we need in our back pocket.
