see the formula of kinetic energy itself gives the answer...k=1/2mv^2...

so if mass is doubled kinetic energy doubles and if velocity is doubled its square becomes 4 times and thus kinetic energy becomes 4times original..hope it helps u understand

      K.E =1/2 m v^2

so if mass is doubled the energy will increase 2 time and if velocity it will increase 4 times
