give me reason why power sharing is desirable

Power sharing is desirable because :
1. PRUDENTIAL REASON
It helps reduce the possibility of conflicts between social groups.
2.MORAL REASON
Power sharing is the very spirit of democracy

when there is power sharing there will be less conflicts among communities
there will be no civil war 
there will be no division among the communities
eg: in Belgium there ere crisis about the french speaking and the dutch speaking communities but after power sharing the problem was solved. similarly the same situation had happened in Sri Lanka that was between Tamil speaking and simhala people. hence power sharing is very important and it is desirable
