Role of youth in our Nation's Development from "The Children's Song"

The song "The Childrens' Song" was written by Rudyard Kipling.

Youth have a capability to distinguish between good and bad for themselves and their country. It is the duty of youth to realize the good that their motherland did for them. So they must love their land and live nicely in the future. They should take the place of their elders when time comes.

They must pray to God to give them noble qualities. Youth must protect their heritage and follow the traditions that their forefathers established. They control their emotions, impulsive behaviour and work for a truthful future. Youth should be controlled in ruling themselves carefully and cleanly (impartially).  Youth are to be ready for making necessary sacrifices.

Youth should be strong and brave. They look to God as the judge and not look to their friends as their judges of their actions. Youth should develop qualities of simplicity and forgiveness. They should be patriotic. They should serve their country with heart, mind and actions.
